As I said, looping is BoardBooster’s secret sauce. With looping, your old pins are re-pinned to the same Pinterest board automatically. In other words, you pin it one time and it keeps getting re-pinned based on the schedule that you set.
The advantage of looping is that it refreshes all the older content you’ve added to your account over the years. Instead of sitting at the bottom of a Pinterest board, these pins are shared with your current audience, which gives them new exposure.
If you are worried about annoying people by re-pinning the same content, don’t. Pinterest moves pretty fast and no one is going to remember what you pinned months or even years ago.
In addition to walking through how to set up looping on BoardBooster, I also share why I made the choices I made in setup. This will help you work looping into your own BoardBooster strategy.
Some points to consider in your BoardBooster looping strategy:
- Which boards should loop?
- How many pins should you loop on each board?
- How much of your pinning should be from looping?
- How should you handle duplicate pins?
Looping allows you to be really active and consistent on Pinterest. Consistent activity will grow your Pinterest account and send more traffic to your website. And that’s what you want, right?
